Every year has a few key transits that take center stage and create the means for transformation to take place.
In 2020, it was the single Saturn Pluto conjunction on Jan 12th that kickstarted change and then 3 Jupiter/Pluto conjunctions evenly placed through the year that magnified that energy.
This year, it was the 3 Saturn Uranus squares (Feb 17th, June 14th and the upcoming one on Dec 24th).
Let's review how these changes showed up for us so we can integrate that energy and receive the gifts that these changes brought about in on our lives.
Saturn is all about the rules of life in a physical body and world. The framework within which we must live. The rules we follow. The discipline it takes to function and grow within those rules. The maturity that results from putting in consistent and persistent effort. It's all about the real world. And also, about maturing to our own soul authority in this real world.
**Uranus is about awakening to our greatest nature. **About breaking patterns from the past (in this life as well as past lives) so we can explore new areas of growth. Of seeing where the old rules no longer apply and operating from a place of setting up our own rules, and living by them.
Realizing where the old traditions are actually holding us back and preventing us from moving ahead.
When they square, they provide us an immense opportunity for growth.
Squares create tension in our lives for the purpose of making us see what is outgrown and they require action to move ahead. Otherwise, we may feel very frustrated.
Saturn in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus says it's time to set up new rules for living. And if you are facing a lot of external rules, it's time to see how you can find the freedom even within those restrictions.
Tune into this energy and reflect on how it played out in your life in the past year?
Questions for integration:
- Where did you feel the energy of restriction and lack of freedom the most?
- How did you handle that lack of freedom--how did your thoughts, emotions, actions amplify that lack or support you in working with it?
- In what ways did you grow despite the restrictions?
- Where did you put in consistent effort that allowed you to mature, pick up new skills, develop a part of your life?
- What old rules did you leave behind this year?
Stay tuned for Day 2 and Day 3 of this series in the coming days.
