MidLife Astrology Part 3 - The Bridge - Key 3
Do you feel a deep longing for authenticity?
We have seen thus far in this series that the mid life phase is a key time for awakening life purpose, embracing hidden or new talents, and moving away from the old path or integrating your new gifts with the old in a seamless way.
In other words, the mid-life phase is a transformational time. And...a second chapter is really all about stepping into authenticity. But how do we discover our authentic voice?
This is where the astrology comes in...your natal chart holds BIG clues to your authentic voice.
Your authentic voice actually comes from many different aspects of you—called your Creation Team.
Each aspect may express in a different way.
E.g. your Mercury indicates your style of communication, how you perceive and think. A Mercury in a water sign will think and express very differently than Mercury in a fire sign.
Your Venus indicates your values and priorities and Mars represents what drives you and how you take action.
Your moon represents your past life gifts, and your innate patterns of thinking.
Other members of your creation team are your rising sign, mid heaven, and Jupiter.
All these represent different energies within you which need to be expressed so you can live an authentic life.
Oftentimes though, like real human members of a team don't communicate, the same can happen with the creation team.
It takes practice to hear how each one talks and get them to work together in harmony.
Again, these depend on the element and sign, and each element expresses differently.
Earth signs tend to be practical and are good with creating structure and form with patience!
Air signs represent the mental realm and are quick with ideas and communication. They may not have the patience that Earth signs have.
Fire signs are good with action.
And water represents the emotional realm.
Now just imagine if you are trying to create something in your life—all aspects of your creation team need to be on board. If you have planets in a water sign, and the water is heavy with emotions, it's not going to want to take action, but the fire/air aspects of you may be raring to go!
These internal aspects of you can create inner conflict that shows up as feeling stuck.
So the key is to understand what the different aspects of your voice are and learn to identify each one and embody their higher expression.
What does it mean to embody?
It means it's not just a mental concept anymore—you bring that energy into your body, you become it. E.g. the sign of Aries has the quality of courage. If you have Aries planets, it's not enough to know that you are supposed to be courageous. But you awaken that quality within you, and your start to embody courage.
As you embody your creation team, it helps you to get a clear identity!
No wishy-washy image of yourself. You know who you are and what your gifts are.
And then you begin to activate your unique purpose.
Moving into the second chapter of your career is a golden opportunity to carve out a new path that features the REAL YOU. An opportunity to be intentional about how you want to show up in all your life.
Usually, we make a change like this when we want our work to have meaning and align with a higher purpose.
So, it's a chance to commit to a life of conscious creation of your identity where your unique and authentic voice is being expressed through the work you choose to do.
