What is the biggest perception shift you've had?
Which, once you heard it, completely changed your life?
So often we go through life on autopilot. Playing multiple roles, handling responsibilities and rarely pausing to look beyond the 'reality' matrix we may be residing in. But once in a while you may come across an idea that shakes you up enough to crack the perception windshield through which you've been seeing life. And nothing is the same after that.
For me that happened when I heard the idea that my voice is sacred because it holds divine codes which are unique to me and hence instrumental to create my life. It shook me, awoke me and something unlocked within like a combination lock turning and suddenly giving access to awareness my higher self already knew, but was waiting for my human self to recognize. So many patterns in my life where I had felt stuck, started to make sense.
To say that my life changed after that is an understatement. It was not easy AT ALL! My entire life purpose pivoted to wanting to find my authentic voice but I had to dissolve what was inauthentic to me. And I came to know, that requires courage.
The idea that our voice is sacred makes intellectual sense. But why, even if we accept that idea, we don't often treat it as sacred, even disliking our voice? I discovered that this was because of the 'noise' that blocks our true voice.
And along with that I learned some other interesting things:
- There are 3 types of distortions in the voice, one related to past pain, second one to the present judgement and the third one to the future fear.
- Pretty much most people are experiencing these distortions in their voice, often not realizing how it is impacting them
- These patterns of distortions create a cloud which distort your perception of life, impact how you see and experience reality, not giving you access to your truth, such as, what you are really meant to create
- Dissolving the patterns requires not only courage, but also a sense of self responsibility and more vital, massive compassion
- If it sounds so hard, what's the point? Why not just stay in that cloudy bubble, accepting 'fate'? Because connecting with your authentic voice and letting it come through you is like coming back home. There is a sense of relief you feel when you are connected with your true self, and are able to express it with joy and no inhibition. The facade falls away and you feel truly seen and heard not just by others, but more importantly, your own self.
