In this article I want to share what a Voice of Personal Authority is and why it is necessary in order to feel fulfilled in your life and career.
Personal Authority means your personal will, your human will is aligned to divine will.
My definition of it is that the Voice of Personal Authority (VoPA) is your divine authority being communicated through your inner voice (thoughts) and outer voice (your out loud spoken words and communication and creations).
When you are connected to your VoPA, sovereignty is a quality you embody strongly.
You know and recognize you make the rules and you have the skills and capability to create a life that revolves around your own rules and not those planted on you by someone else.
You are not reacting to outer situations and but creating life from an inner desire that’s coming from your inner authority – the original divine creator frequency within you.
You are not doing what others are doing and copying them in order to feel safe or better, but you know exactly what you desire even if its different from others and are taking responsibility for bringing that desire to reality.
You are making choices based on an inner divine impulse not egoic impulse. Hence you amplify your own unique brilliance.
What is egoic impulse?
Creating from fakeness not realness.
Doing something because you think it is the popular choice or that it will get you more approval, not because you feel the impulse to create it yourself.
Your sense of approval comes from a situation or person outside you.
The motivation for doing something comes from someone else having what you think you want and you either feel bad they have it or you fear feeling left out if you don’t have what they have.
You feel you ‘should’ do a particular thing—not because you want to but because you feel there is an unspoken rule (made by an external figure) and you must follow it, even though deep down you have no energy for it.
Eg. you spend a lot of energy and money to pursue a job or certification because someone else has it, and you feel inadequate about your situation. You may feel at the effect of external circumstances and feel powerless to change it or lack clarity, so it may be easier to follow an external path that may or may not be aligned to your higher path.
The ego is also blind to the seasons of your life.
For example, when you are going through a personal winter cycle (Pluto, Chiron, Neptune), then outer growth will cease and inner growth is necessary to prepare for the next phase and receive a higher vision.
But the egoic voice will criticize you for this, make you feel bad and incite fear, constantly keeping you spinning in a pool of self doubt and insisting you are incompetent for not finding outer success the way others appear to do so.
It keeps you in a cycle of thinking and doing endlessly with the hope that it will hit the mark but in a winter cycle you are meant to cease the outer doing and be more with you inner state. This is not acceptable to the egoic voice.
A VoPA will recognize and honor those inevitable natural seasons and sacred timings and show you a way to work with it rather than endlessly criticizing. You develop solid self trust and self kindness when you are connected to your VoPA.
The danger with creating your life based on impulses from the external world, is that you are caught in a never ending cycle of living your life based on someone else’ rules and agendas, many of which are coming from their own egoic impulse not recognized!!!
Can you see the vicious circle you can get caught up?
It will get exhausting very quickly because the outer world is fickle.
Outer trends and popular choices are short lived. If you respond to someone else’ life, which may be coming from limitations and imitations, you are constantly creating based on others limited creations, rather than fine tuning your own strengths and unique skills that your soul wants to explore.
No wonder we end up not trusting ourselves and this inevitably leads to disillusionment.
So the remedy for this is to
- stop listening so much to the outer world,
- cultivate a strong loving relationship with your inner voice and
- develop your Voice of Personal Authority - the bridge between Divine Creator within and the Human part of your Self that implements the Divine will.
